HANG UP

MATERIALS: Aluminium, wood

DIMENSIONS: 31.75"l X 1.875"w X 35.25"h

A Collaboration between Henry Julier and Pete Oyler. Their collaborative work is based in their shared appreciation for high-quality industrial design. Their work is forthright and pays particular attention to economy of material, efficient production and enduring function.

Hang Up is a wall-mounted system designed for people of all heights – from 48-inch 4-year-olds to 78-inch 40-year-olds – Hang Up is a contemporary evolution of the ubiquitous Shaker peg rail. Comprised of wood elements and metal hardware, Hang Up brings things within reach via three lengths of vertical rails, providing an array of flexible hanging options.

T-SHIRT FOLDER

MATERIALS: aluminium, felt

DIMENSIONS: 28.5"L X 23.5"W X 0.5" H

An elevated version of the generic T-shirt folder. Typically made in plastic and available through infomercial, T-shirt folders allow for the precise folding of garments every time. This version aims to elevate the experience through the use of felt as a backer and hinge mechanism. A hole allows the object to be hung out in the open, instead of stored away in the closet.

FAMILY BRUSHES

MATERIALS: oak, horse Hair, magnets

DIMENSIONS: various Dimensions

Family Brushes allow two people to clean up together. Inspired by experiences at home with my 2-year-old daughter, each brush breaks apart into two pieces, turning a normal chore into a shared task and learning experience between users.
